Pacific Development Foundation

Founded as a registered charity by Noel Levi CBE and Mahon Slattery in 2005 and based on the island of New Ireland, Papua New Guinea, the foundation is dedicated to the deployment of electricity, transport and communication solutions throughout the island nations in the South Pacific.

Beginning from New Ireland, electricity and ‘quality of life’ technologies adapted to suit these geographies and climates will be deployed in ever increasing circles to link island nations and empower them to co-operate together in addressing the unique economic and environmental challenges (e.g. isolation, climate change, access to potable water, tsunami) of the region.
