MBioFerm Ltd. is the depository of several species of Clostridia and other bacteria which are capable of ABE (acetone, butanol, ethanol) Fermentation (most of which were used in commercial ABE production in the 20th Century). ABE Fermentation is suited to the bio-production of chemicals, fuels and gases (H2) for industry and transport. When an ABE Fermentation facility is considered appropriate, these unique bacteria from the 20th Century are redeployed. In comparison with modern mutated bacteria, MbioFerm’s bacteria have proven high productivity and reliability, having been commercially produced in huge fermentation facilities, under considerable pressure, with diverse substrate.
